Plain English summary: CyberGrad provides career guidance tools and a structured programme. We do not guarantee employment outcomes. Payments are one-time and non-refundable after the programme has started. We are honest about what we are and what we are not.
1. About CyberGrad
CyberGrad is a career guidance platform operated by Rakesh Elamaran, based in the United Kingdom. We provide:
- A free CV Scorecard tool for international cybersecurity graduates
- Free resources including sector guides and role guides
- A paid structured 4-week career programme (Industry-Ready)
- A WhatsApp community for members
CyberGrad is not a recruitment agency, a job placement service, a bootcamp, or an accredited educational institution. We do not place candidates in jobs and we do not guarantee employment outcomes of any kind.
2. No job guarantee
CyberGrad does not guarantee employment. Our tagline is "Guidance, not guarantees." Any platform or service claiming to guarantee a job is misleading you. We provide honest, practical guidance to improve your chances. Results depend on your own effort, skills, market conditions, and many factors outside our control.
3. Eligibility
CyberGrad is designed for international students and graduates in the United Kingdom studying or having studied cybersecurity, computer science, or related subjects. You must be 18 or older to use CyberGrad or make a payment.
4. Free account
Creating a free account gives you access to the CV Scorecard, Sectors and Domains guide, Roles to Apply guide, downloadable resources, and WhatsApp community. Free access may change over time as we develop the platform. We will notify you of material changes.
5. Paid programme (Industry-Ready)
The Industry-Ready programme is a paid, structured 4-week cohort programme. By purchasing:
- You agree to pay the listed price at the time of purchase (currently £125 early bird)
- Payment is processed securely by Stripe
- Your place is confirmed once payment is received
- You will receive access to all programme materials, sessions, and resources as described
6. Refund policy
We offer refunds in the following circumstances:
- Before the programme starts: Full refund available up to 48 hours before the first session
- After the programme starts: Refunds are at our discretion. If you have a genuine concern, email cybergraduk@gmail.com and we will discuss it fairly.
- Technical failure: If we are unable to deliver the programme due to reasons on our side, you are entitled to a full refund.
We do not offer refunds simply because you did not land a job. Outcomes depend on effort and circumstances outside our control.
7. Programme conduct
As a CyberGrad member you agree to:
- Treat other members of the community with respect
- Not share programme materials, session recordings, or resources outside of CyberGrad without permission
- Not misrepresent your association with CyberGrad
We reserve the right to remove members from the programme and community for conduct that is disrespectful, harmful, or dishonest. Refunds will not be issued in these circumstances.
8. CV data and content
When you use the CV Scorecard, you retain full ownership of your CV content. We do not claim any rights over the content you submit. CV text is processed to generate your score and is not permanently stored or shared. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

CyberGrad provides guidance in good faith based on knowledge of the UK cybersecurity job market. We are not liable for:
- Employment outcomes or lack thereof
- Decisions you make based on guidance provided
- Changes in the job market, immigration rules, or employer requirements
- Any indirect or consequential losses
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the programme.
11. Changes to the programme
We may update programme content, session dates, or structure from time to time to improve quality. We will notify paid members of any material changes. If changes significantly affect what you paid for, you may request a refund.
